These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and Daap ("we", "us") covering getdaap.com and the Daap apps. By creating an account or using Daap you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy.
Who can use Daap
You must be old enough to use Daap under the law where you live, and any information you give us when creating your account must be accurate. If an account was suspended for breaking these terms, you may not create another one to replace it.
Your account
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your credentials safe. Tell us right away if you believe your account has been accessed without your permission. We may reclaim usernames that impersonate others or break these terms.
Your content
What you post stays yours. By posting, you give us the non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence we need to host, store, display, and distribute your content so the service can work. You are responsible for what you post and must have the rights to share it.
Acceptable use
Daap is built around nearby communities, so keeping it safe matters. When using Daap you must not:
- break the law, or post content that is illegal where you or your audience live;
- harass, threaten, or defame others, or post hate speech or content that endangers anyone;
- impersonate people, businesses, or communities, or misrepresent your affiliation;
- spam, scam, or artificially amplify content (fake likes, coordinated manipulation);
- probe, overload, scrape, or otherwise interfere with the service, or access it by automated means without permission.
Moderation
We moderate to keep Daap healthy: we may remove or restrict content, and suspend or terminate accounts, when these terms are broken. You can report content in the app; reports are reviewed and moderation decisions may be logged.
The service
Daap evolves — features may change, be added, or be removed, and the service may occasionally be interrupted. We work to keep Daap available and safe but cannot promise uninterrupted operation.
Daap's rights
The Daap name, logo, apps, and software are ours and protected by law. These terms don't give you a right to use them except as needed to use the service.
Ending your account
You can stop using Daap and delete your account at any time in the app. We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these terms, and where reasonable we will tell you why.
Disclaimers & liability
Daap is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for content posted by other people. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date, and continuing to use Daap after a change means you accept the updated terms.
